Cool change across Vic

A cool change swept Northern Victoria on Thursday

The region saw some relief with yesterday's cool change, however the Bureau of Meteorology predict it won't last long.

The Senior Forecaster for BOM, Michael Efron, said temperatures will increase today and tomorrow

"A dry day on Friday, temperatures in the high 20's over the North," he said.

"During Saturday that high raises across Tasmania so we do see a return to North-Easterly flow,

"Temperatures back in the low 30's over the North."

Temperatures are then expected to cool off again on Sunday.

"On Sunday that high moves a little further East, and we do get a cold front approaching from the West," he said.

"Sunday is our next spike day in terms of fire-weather conditions."
