Officers found one ATM had been stolen and another had been damaged, and established a crime scene.

Several items were seized for forensic examination, including a crowbar and a Mitsubishi Trition utility.

Detectives from the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Murray River Police District established Strike Force Burrandoot to investigate the incident.

Following extensive inquiries, detectives executed a crime scene warrant at a caravan park in Deniliquin at about 9.30am on Tuesday 2 April.

Murray River Police District Detective Inspector Juay Brown has urged any residents with information to come forward.

"Without member of the community providing us with information, some of our investigations may stall, however that's why we ask for public assistance," he said.

"Through these appeals we get provided information which we'll investigate and look into - we won't leave any stone unturned.

"We're out in the community, working with the community, to try and find these offenders and bring them before the court."

Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the bobcat or Mitsubishi utility in the area on Monday 25 February is urged to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
