MLHD Mobile Testing Van

The mobile testing van is in Finley and Berrigan today

The Murrumbidgee Local Health District has increased screening for people who have travelled to Melbourne. Anyone with even mild symptoms of COVID-19 is being urged to get tested.

The Mobile Testing Clinic is available for testing. Today, the van is located at:

Finley: East end of Pinnuck Street East, 9am - 12.30pm.

Berrigan: Chanter Street, (Riverina Hwy) outside the Council Chambers in the Library carpark, 1.15pm - 4pm

MLHD has also been working with transport providers to ensure the small number of passengers arriving from Melbourne by public transport are screened appropriately.

The border between NSW and Victoria will close at midnight on Tuesday. MLHD has planned for this closure and reassures the community that our health facilities along the border will continue to provide care to both NSW and Victorian residents.

MLHD urges people to maintain the COVID-10 safety protocols by practicing good hand hygiene, physical distancing, and staying at home if you are unwell.

Testing is free. Anyone with symptoms should come forward for testing for COVID-19.

Call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099.

People presenting to MLHD’s hospital emergency departments, or requiring admission to hospital for any reason are screened to ensure the appropriate level of safety precautions are taken during their care.

Staff who have recently travelled to Melbourne are required to be symptom-free for 14 days and will be tested before returning to work.

Visitors are also screened, and will not be permitted entry if they have any respiratory symptoms or if they have travelled to Melbourne in the past 14 days.
