Police investigating 'suspicious' Moama fire
Police are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a number of vehicles, a truck and threatened nearby homes.
Emergency services were called to the Graham St address just after 8pm, taking three and a half hours to control the blaze.
The inferno sparked several explosions, with several vehicles, a b-double truck and trailers were destroyed.
The fire was fuelled by wooden pallets contained in the yard.
Fanned by winds, the fire spread into nearby bushland, with witnesses saying the fire encroached on the nearby Barber's Paddock housing estate.
After the fire was brought under cntrol about 11.30pm, police set up a guard at the site, having deemed the fire suspicious.
Detectives and forensic officers will comb the scene today.
