Upgrades for Moira Shire e-waste collection
Moira Shire has received state government funding to help manage e-waste and keep it out of landfill.
$400,000 will help upgrade of the shire's e-waste collection and storage sites in Cobram, Nathalia, Numurkah and Yarrawonga.
CEO Mark Henderson says it will help equip them to receive unwanted electronics, which will be stripped of components for re-use or sold on the second-hand goods market.
He says Moira is still one of the best performing shires in Victoria when it comes to how individual households manage waste products.
