The Deniliquin Business Chamber, along with Edward River Council, are delivering a series of workshops as part of NSW Small Business Month.

- Recovery Planning for Small Business (Thursday 7 October, 5.30pm, @ the Deni RSL, Free Event)

Now is the time to get your cash flow and Business Plan sorted for 2021! Cash flow is the life blood of small business and it’s never been more critical to get it right. In this one hour event BEC Business Advisors David Yeates and Krystal Maytom will discuss business planning, ideas for thinking outside the box in a recession and go through a very simple cash flow spreadsheet from start to finish. A light supper will be provided.

- The Power of StorySelling, telling stories that drive sales (Thursday 15 October, 12.30pm, via Zoom, $20 fee)

What we know for sure is Australian businesses can’t compete on price, so they must compete on story. Regardless of industry, it’s no longer about the products or services that you make, but the stories that you tell. And that’s what this one-hour workshop will cover – how to harness the power of storytelling to engage new audiences and drive sales into your business. Following this workshop, participants are invited to take part in an optional one-on-one follow up session, delivered via Zoom.

- The Art of Visual Merchandising (Tuesday 20 October, 7.30pm, via Zoom, $20 fee)

This visual presentation will showcase local and global examples of best practice retail design and visual merchandising techniques. Topics include brand identity, shopfront presentation, inspiring window displays and interior spaces for retail and hospitality-based businesses and creating captivating shopping/dining experiences. Christmas visual merchandising ideas will also be included in this session. Following this workshop, participants are invited to take part in an optional one-on-one follow up session, delivered via Zoom.

- Creative Social Media Content for beginners (Thursday 22 October, 7.30am, The Depot Historic Collection, $20 fee)

Learn how to make creative and engaging social media content quickly and easily with no design skills. An introduction to simple social media tools and hands-on tips, tricks and hacks to create content that people love! Held at The Depot, a light breakfast will be included.
